  • Parking lot arc lamp the separation
    of earth from sky
Light smells like what e.e. cummings
    called “skinniness”
    And as the photographer-moth flies
into a car full of pollen
Wind brings in a hiat of diesel
    with the invasive white lily

The gas it takes the mexicans
    to mow the grass
who can’t afford to live in Boca
    Raton but are maybe
Grateful, because near by, a store front church
    is serving junkies
midnight sugar cookies and hot tea.
